Specifications for Samsung’s upcoming sequel to the Galaxy Note are rumoured to have been leaked, with one of the biggest updates to the device being that it will now sport a new 16:9 resolution, similar to the Apple iPhone 5. Seoul Newspaper has leaked the rumoured specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is scheduled for an announcement at on August 29, 2012, just before the Berlin IFA consumer electronics show.
The website claims that the Galaxy Note 2 will have:
- A 5.5-inch AMOLED display.
- 16:9 resolution, with a 1280 x 720 resolution.
- A quad-core 1.4GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 processor.
- 16GB and 32GB SKUs, and 4G support.
The device will also be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and have a 8-megapixel rear camera. The official announcement is coming tomorrow, so you won’t have to wait too long to know whether these specifications are accurate.
